PROJECT OVERVIEW

Bizarre Intimacies is a collection of multimedia works created as a student exhibition project . It began by looking inward—at our own memories, emotions, relationships, habits, and everyday experiences. Each of us brought our own personal narratives to the project, taking moments from our lives and translating them into individual artworks.

The exhibition brings together these personal stories, each offering a small glimpse into the artist behind it. While the experiences are deeply personal, they also create space for viewers to reflect on their own memories and connections. Bizarre Intimacies explores how something intimate to one person can still feel familiar to someone else, and how our identities continue to be shaped by the people, places, memories, and experiences around us.

FRAGMENTS FOREVER

My individual project explores repetition, routine, and the feeling of being stuck in a monotonous loop. Using myself as the subject, I photographed moments from my everyday routine to reflect how repeated actions can slowly begin to feel overwhelming. Through the repetition and arrangement of the photographs, I explore the inner tension that can build up when everyday life starts to feel like an endless cycle.

MY CONTRIBUTION

My main contribution was to the content development of the exhibition. I worked closely with each person’s individual story and idea, helping explore what they wanted to communicate and finding the most effective medium to bring it to life. For example, some stories worked better as physical objects, while others were developed into photographs or other visual forms. I also contributed to model-making, testing, and the overall production and execution of the exhibition.
